Trip to Denver

We went to Denver in mid-December to visit and we really loved it. We saw Tyler's new home and where he worked, visited and played with Josh. Thanks for the fun! We then went to Angie and Colby's. We saw their new Wheaten Terrier - sweet dog. We went to a place called White Fence farm and ate and played. We visited and had a good time. Thanks for the nice time!

My Mother's Passing

On August 13th my mother passed away. She had been very ill for a long time, but she is very much missed. Her funeral was lovely as she would have wanted. All her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were there. The pictures were precious and will be treasured. Here are some:

Sun Valley

We decided to try the road to Sun Valley. It is about 50 miles over the mountain and very pretty. Hailee was named after a town near Sun Valley. It was her birthday, so we took her to see it and play along the way. We took pictures of having lunch by the pond and sitting in the warm springs river.

Boating in Mackay

We have had a fun time with our boat in Mackay this year. Nathan, Angie W, their cousins Steve and James, Angie J, and LeeAnn's families have all enjoyed the fun. I didn't get pictures of everyone, but you will get the idea.

Summer Fun Times

This summer we have had such nice times. We have recently had the Wilson's from Kansas visit us in Mackay and the next week the Johnston's from Colorado and then we were with Dave's kids at Snowbird. Here are some of my favorite pictures.

Mike, Angie, and Nathan's Families at Powder

Here are the three families that were at Powder. I am always amazed at how wonderful you all are doing. Your families tell it all.

Families at Powder Ridge

We had a good time at Powder. It rained and snowed as a cloud seemed to stay on the mountain top. So, we swam, played games (our favorite being the kids game of ghost), and visited. We went to the valley to fish, boat, go to the park, visit the petting farm and see Emmalee's final baseball game. Thanks kids for coming. We missed Tyler and Chad's families very much and hope to see your families soon. We know it is hard in these times to have everyone there, but we will keep at it and hope to have as many as possible.

Nightime on a 4/wheeler

There is nothing like a night ride.

Mackay with Hiedi and LeeAnn's Families

We went to Mackay with Hiedi's family. LeeAnn was able to come up for a few days and we all had a great time. It was the first time we took our new boat out on the reservoir. Here are a few pictures of the week.

Last Week

This week I went to Utah for some visiting. On Sunday, Nathan and Amy blessed their little boy, Vincent Maxwell Adams. It was a nice day. Everyone enjoyed the meeting, special blessing, and delicious lunch. Then, I spent a week with Angie and her little ones while Lynn was gone to training. Emmie is a great baseball player with three runs in her first two games of the season. Angie's family looks great in the atmosphere of the Aquarium in Sandy. Thanks Angie, for the nice time with your family! Then, I visited my Mom and Dad. Mom is very weak and just wants to sleep. Dad is amazing with her in keeping her happy.

Yes, we do have a boat :-)

Dave has been looking at boats for quite a while. He wanted one to take out for a few water sports. This reminds him of his old boat only newer. Notice his smile.

Vehicles

Our Lincoln was getting many, many miles on it. We saw one around the corner with less miles for sale and 5 years newer. So we bought it. We are selling the old one.
Then Dave was looking for another 4/wheeler and got a new one with mag wheels. It is pretty nice. It is a touring bike so we will have to do a lot of touring. Our neighbor in Mackay said that he has been there 4 years and still hasn't seen all the sights. He told us of his favorites. It seems everyone has different favorites. We will have to find ours.

Trying out the 4wheeler

We went up on the mountain to try out the trails with our 4/wheeler. It was beautiful and we had a good time. There is still a lot of snow, but the lower roads were open.

Easter

Myles colored eggs. He didn't want to eat them, just collect them. On Saturday we had Angie, Emmie, Cody and Alexus come over for a hunt and lunch. We had a good time.

Give it Forward ----Like Pay it Forward

OK...my daughter, Angie had this on her blog...and I decided to do it too! I am going to give away something great to the first 3 people to comment on my blog. The when and where is unknown, as well as the what.

Isn't it fun to get a surprise?

The only catch is to keep the trend going in the same way. Post a contest on your blog and give something forward!

Anyway....I think it sounds like fun....hope you do too! Looking forward to see who I get to do something fun for!

Our Trip to Denver

We had a great trip to Denver! The weather was nice, the people exceptional, the experiences unforgettable. We stayed with the Johnston's and the kids put on a musical show of dance and song. We went to see Tyler return and he looked so good!!!! (I forgot to take my camera of him coming home.) He returned at 3:30 Tuesday morning. When Josh finally noticed Tyler was there, he took a double take and said, "Daddy!" We went to Red Robin the next day for hamburgers. I took this picture of them in the parking lot.
