Interesting Squirrel

Last week we went to Island Park for a couple of days. Laurie and Crae let us use their cabin and we had no TV or people. It was quiet and nice. We enjoyed paddling around the lake and watching the critters. This little squirrel was really noisy and would hide in this nest by the porch. It was in a place where two trees come together. He was a funny one to watch.

Dave Won "the" Jacket

We went to our High Priest and Elders Quorum party last Friday. They had a whiffle ball tournament and BBQ. There was a course set up around the church. It was difficult with a wind, but Dave even got a hole in one. As the winner, he had to wear the jacket. It is a tradition and he was to wear it to church. It is a plaid jacket (which doesn't show well in the picture). It was amazing how many people loved it. It is good that it fit. If he were a smaller guy it would have looked really funny. My Cat found the Fish

Tabby and Beijing are now friends. Tabby was watching and watching. Then, he just jumped up and loves to drink the water. Beijing doesn't seem to mind. I'm glad they are friends. I suppose the water in the fish bowl is better than the toilet.

Chief Pocatello

We have a new statue of Chief Pocatello. He is the person that Pocatello city is named after. Dave and Ethan show how large the statue is. It always amazes me much talent there is in the world to make such beautiful works of art.

Saturday's Zoo Trip

On Saturday, I was invited to go to the zoo. I haven't been there for 10 years. It was a really great day. Being with Angie, Amy and the kids was really fun. They loved the animals and the rides.
