Backyard Birds

The top one is a spring male Bullock's Oriole. The next is the female. They enjoy the hummingbird nectar. The third picture is my favorite the American Goldfinch. The last picture is a new bird to by backyard this year, a Lazuli Bunting.
It has been fun to see all the colors together. They take the place of the flowers that are a little slow because of the cooler weather.
I do have some hummingbirds, but haven't caught them with my camera.

Chad took pictures of his first lazuli bunting just last week. They are so beautiful. Great pictures. Can't wait to come down and see the birds.

Mom -- nice bird photos. I hadn't seen any Lazuli bunting until this year either. Pretty cool looking birds. Glad you are enjoying the blogging thing. Chad
